@cesrabbit we got our daughter’s old passport back the day before we received the new one. You should get it any day. Was 4 days after showing as printed and posted for us

July 17, 2020 at 4:13 pm #2031cesrabbitParticipantThanks for all your replies. I received it this afternoon! Delighted. So a 22 day process from start to finish. Online application. Child (16 year old) renewal. Lovely blue one too. And 5 photos printed inside! Very decorative.
Very pleased with service from Durham.
Thank youHappy Holidays everyone!
July 18, 2020 at 8:27 am #2041l-canterburyParticipantHas anyone had their passport approved on a Saturday? Living in hope!
July 18, 2020 at 8:44 am #2042sprajax1ParticipantLooking back through everyone’s timeline I don’t think there has been any approvals on Saturday – although I could be wrong however, also living in hope!!! Anxious and frustrated but also trying to get through the weekend without thinking about it although it’s super hard!!!
July 18, 2020 at 8:50 am #2043cesrabbitParticipantWhen did you apply? They definitely seem to be speeding up. Mine was 22 days to receive through letterbox with no urgency. You can dm them with your flight dates to try and expedite your application.
July 18, 2020 at 9:00 am #2044sprajax1ParticipantApplied on the 28th for adult renewal (Glasgow) and child renewal (Durham)- Both stuck at ‘application processing’ for over a week now. Will call again next week to see if they can move things along although hoping i don’t have to chase them and they just move it along as that is painful in itself! Travelling mid August, however, just don’t want to receive them last minute! Far too stressful!
July 18, 2020 at 9:00 am #2045jamesd1974Participant2 of mine were approved printed and sent last Saturday
July 18, 2020 at 9:01 am #2046sprajax1ParticipantSo there is hope! 🙂
July 18, 2020 at 9:07 am #2047sprajax1ParticipantAlso called complaints as suggested but they said I need to wait a month before escalation or 16days before my flight – which both falls at pretty much the same time!
July 18, 2020 at 9:33 am #2048jamesd1974ParticipantTell them you need to add api information to you flights 7 days before your flights then they will escalate it quicker
July 18, 2020 at 9:48 am #2050sprajax1ParticipantThanks I’ll do that – also once the passports are approved do you get a text message or will you only find out by checking the timeline?
