Change from normal application to fast track?

Hi,

I applied for a passport renewal back in February, but was unable to send my passport straight away due to a couple of trips coming up.

I returned a couple of weeks ago and sent my passport straight away using the post office priority service, however I only got an email yesterday to say my old passport had been received.

We go away on 4th May and with the quote 10 weeks I’m worried it won’t be processed in time for then.

Does anyone know of a way I can ‘upgrade’ the service to Fast track or cancel the application, get my passport back and do a fast track application.

Have tried ringing the passport office several times but not getting through.
