Hi, I applied for a damaged passport replacement and just wondering if this tends to take quicker/the same/slower than standard renewal passports? I have a holiday booked for 2nd November and really hoping it gets back to me before then. (Sent to the Belfast office)

    So far:
Application submitted: 19 September (8 days ago)
Application received: 19 September (8 days ago)
Documents received: 23 September (5 days ago)
Application being processed: 24 September (4 days ago).

I have 34 days left until my holiday.

The average time on the .gov website is currently saying typically 5 weeks, but it’s not clear if that’s from initially submitting to the new passport being sent back, or, if it’s from the date it started being processed to being sent back.

Any help will be really appreciated.

    Thanks
    L x
