Is it normal to have a delay after “Printed”?

We’ve applied for 3 passports (3 different passport offices). Two came back pretty quickly. Tracking on these still says “Printed”, despite us having them in our hands. However, a third passport has been in “Printed” for over 2 weeks. Is it lost in the post, or is it just a typical delay?

Almost every post I’ve seen suggests that it arrives within a couple of days of being “Printed”.

Mine was printed thursday and no update since. I’m starting to worry now as most people seem to receive theirs within a day or 2 of being printed. TNT tracking is showing nothing either. I’m just hoping it’s because of the bank holiday slowing stuff down

Just an update on mine, it’s supposedly being delivered on the 8th. If you use this link and put your postcode in and your PEX number as the application reference it should show on there. You don’t need the PEX part, just the number with no spaces.

Thanks for that link! Apparently, it was marked as “Unable to deliver”. Never got a missed delivery note, or any tracking details from TNT or the passport office. They never made a second attempt, but you can prod them to try again.
