Application submitted 3:15pm on 27 June 2020July 25, 2020 at 8:15 pm #2265nk8366ParticipantI was wondering how long it took for others to receive their old passport back from the HMPO.
My new one was delivered on 23rd, but the TNT tracking website indicated that the shipment was ‘supporting documents.’
Obviously, I was happy that they delivered the new passport, but as I paid for tracked delivery of old one (it appears that this was a mistake), I wondered if I would be able to track that delivery using the same PAN number. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

We moved our planned holiday to May next year but were still hoping to go away in September if it came in time
After having to resubmit photos twice (first because apparently it looked edited and the second because it didnt look like a recent photo, even though it was taken the morning i submitted it ?delay tactics), my passport has finally been approved

Application submitted 5:52pm on 18 June 2020July 28, 2020 at 8:51 am #2274Gemski91ParticipantI have been processing now for 18 days! I seem to be really stuck. Applied 19 June. Guess they’ve just stuck me in a pile now haha
July 28, 2020 at 12:56 pm #2284lewismorgan10@gmail.comParticipantAfter I mentioned that I was traveling within two weeks I jumped through the hoops and was told someone would call me back within two days. Nobody rang back so after 3 days I called them and the lady took my details again.
About an hour later my passport has gone to approved. It never went to pending status, straight from Recieved your Passport to Approved.
Fingers crossed they can get it posted by next Friday.

I think what’s most frustrating is how you can apply at the same time or even just one day before/after someone and you end up with such massive differences in your journey.I genuinely didn’t think the processing would take this long.
Is yours a first time or renewal? Mine is a first adult passport.
July 28, 2020 at 8:50 pm #2297July 30, 2020 at 11:22 pm #2342KCBKParticipantSo, after they signed for my old passport on 3rd July, they finally acknowledged receipt on 22nd July.
Since then, there’s been nothing. I’ve checked back through this post and usually they start processing almost as soon as they receive it. I’m not sure what I’ve done to offend them so much that I’ve had long delays at each stage so far!

It’s the same for me sadly! So many people here have approvals quite soon after processing but mines been stuck there for 20 days now!
It took about two weeks for them to acknowledge my documents which were actually received only two days after I submitted my application!Application being processed 10 July
Documents received 3 July

Application submitted 19 JuneJuly 31, 2020 at 8:14 am #2344lewismorgan10@gmail.comParticipantI think it’s purely down to providing the documentation that you are travelling within two weeks and booked your trip before the pandemic.
Did anyone manage to track there delivery at any point? The PEX number doesn’t seem to work with TNT.
July 31, 2020 at 8:19 am #2345mrmarktParticipantHi Lewis, for TNT you need to take the PEX off the front and also remove the spaces – that should work in the PAN area
July 31, 2020 at 8:26 am #2346jamesd1974ParticipantIt doesn’t matter when you booked it now as long as it’s within 2 weeks they will dat track it within 5 days
