My adult renewal has just arrived in the post, with two days until I’m travelling. So stressful, but utterly relieved it’s here. I phoned about three times during the process, and asked my local MP to hassle the PO on my behalf – not sure whether either of these actions had any effect, but it felt like I was doing something…

Approved: 03/03/2022
Printed and sent: 04/03/2022
Delivered at 10:30AM: 09/03/2022I think weekends slowed my application down a little: submitting my initial application on a Saturday meant that Royal Mail couldn’t deliver until Tuesday, and being marked as ‘Printed and Sent’ on a Friday meant my TNT tracking wasn’t updated until the following Tuesday. Might have been quicker if not for this. All in all, I’m grateful my application went to Durham, judging by the lengthy delays seen at other offices on this forum.

DHL tracking I should recieve my passpirt tomorrow but looks like my husband passport has gone missing. TNT don’t have it and neither do the passport office Durham. Apparently TNT is used to deliver to DHL for foreign deliveries. This has been so stressfulHi Update

Just literally got my application approved today so it seems like once they actually receive your passport, things speed up. Hopefully will get it this week then.

Hmrc passports emailed me today saying that my old passport is damaged and that I need to write and sign a letter explaining the damage. I will do first thing tomorrow but has anyone had this before and did it delay the application any? I’m worried it’s going to take them another 2 weeks to pick up my letter and link it to my application…
Panicking a little here. Still no tracking DHL & TNT both said they don’t have it. I’m currently in New Zealand and I have no way of tracking my information. HMPO put me on hold for 3hrs yesterday to find out what courier was used and I had to put the phone down as it was 2am here. Any information guys would be helpful.

We have had a nightmare, but what I have learnt along the way. It does seem to take a couple of days for dhl to have a note. Apparently TNT don’t What I have found going onto Customer care dhl and talk to the on line chat bot. Say don’t have a postcode will eventually allow you to chat to a human. They can find your tracking with your name and address. I hope this helpsThey searched my name and nothing it’s been 3 days. They told me it could most likely be DHL uk. It’s frustrating. Seems nobody knows what is happening or where.
Sent them a request and they came back sortlt before saying they don’t have it either and to contact HMPO
