How long post office paper checked renewal?

Hi, can anyone share their experiences.
I submitted post office paper checked application on 30th April. I have received acknowledgment of passport office receiving application but nothing else. I know of friends who applied digitally after me actually receiving new passport. Is paper checked application s taking much longer?

I know someone who has been waiting 7 weeks doing this method and like you has heard no more. I applied digitally after them and my passports are approved now.

I submitted 2 paper child renewals via post office check and send on 12th April and haven’t got them back yet.
I phoned and spoke to someone on the helpline and they said they’d been received and were still waiting to be looked at by an examiner and had been since 26th April
