How long to deliver

We fly in two days so had applied for the upgrade service for our sons passport when we could two weeks ago. We have had no call backs or e-mails from the upgrade team since we applied but yesterday we got a notification on the website to say the application had been approved and today to say the passport had been printed. We have e-mailed and called numerous times since to say we would rather pick the passport up from the local office than wait on a delivery service, but again have had no luck in getting through to anybody.

Has anyone had any experience of a passport being delivered the day after it has been printed? I’ve got no confidence that the passport will arrive in time now but curious if anyone has had it delivered in these timescales.

My passport took 4 days to arrive after been printed but my wife, her passport was here the very next day after been printed. I think it’s very random. Good luck, I hope you recieve yours in time.
