Applying from Germany, I got my renewed UK passport in one month and 11 days, which isn‘t too bad actually. I received the new passport 10 days ago, and now I need the old one back in order to change my residency permit with the German authorities. How long does it generally take to get your old passport back?
I’m in the uk and it took about 2 weeks. I have heard documents being sent international can take longer, typically 3-4 weeks. It depends when you sent your application though as newer applications seem to be getting things back much quicker
Reply to #18087 @bi11p I received my old passport back 10 days after receiving the new one also in Europe.
