    When you call customer service tell them you want to talk to progress

    Ahh that’s brilliant news I can collect at my local one! I spoke to the progress team this morning and it was them who told me I couldn’t but I’m sure when I speak to the upgrade team they will print it local if I request it. Wow I can’t believe they have left you till the day you fly to collect 😱 I leave at 4am Sunday so would need to get my daughters no later than the Saturday 😬 seeing some of these positive upgrades gives me a glimmer of hope 🙌

    People that have been successful for an upgrade: what stage were your applications at, were they still on ‘processing’ or had they already been approved?

    Flyngonthe4th when did upgrade team call you and tell u to collect? What was the progress of your passport before they called as my daughters hasnt updated online since 11th april.

    @ amber what is the current status of your daughters application? Have all docs been receieved? Im here in limbo hoping they sort the whole application in the next 42 hours

    @jrt654. My daughters is still waiting to be seen, I applied by paper application through the post office (something i regret) I sent off on the 23rd of March, I received a text on the 1st of April to say the application has been received and to wait up to 10 weeks. I have never had anymore updates from them, when I called up for the first time I was told they received it on the 4th which apparently was because they moved it from Belfast to Durham. To get any updates I have to ring and ask but still to this date nothing has changed all they say is they are waiting for it to be looked at. I was able to upgrade from sunday 1st of May which I was told on the phone I would be called within 1-2 days, I called the progress team today for a check up and now they have changed it to a call 48-72 hours before travel 🙄 seems to be changing constantly. When do you travel? Keep chasing them, I never got a reply the first email I sent to upgrade but the second time I used what someone else said and I got an automated reply, if you haven’t had one it’s worth giving that a go

    @jrt654 sorry just seen your message from yesterday. Have you spoken to anyone today? I called this number 0300 105 0850 I called bang on 8am and got through in seconds, keep chasing them and see if they can do something, it’s ridiculous your having to wait this long!! Really wish you good luck 🤞

    @amber9514 ive spoken to progressions team this morning and they said the upgrade team updated my application to say im on the list to be called today. At 13.30 today ive checked online and it says application being processed, i dont know if this is a good thing or not but im just hoping for a call today. Good luck with yours and ill keep you posted.

    I’m due to fly on Friday 6th! Still no passport. Sent multiple emails to the upgrade team with no response. I can’t get through on the main lines so cannot even speak to anyone. My status yesterday changed to approved and it was printed at 5:50am this morning but no idea whether I’ll receive it.

    I’d email again Jessicab maybe with the information someone provided “expedite” few pages back.

    What are peoples experiences on delivery?

    Mine is printed now and waiting on a update for delivery.

    Not out the woods but you would think I’ll get it by the 19th.

    @jessicab try this number 0300 105 0850 or try 01633 285419 I’ve used both numbers and mange to through, sometimes have to wait a while but I don’t bother with the main line anymore, hopefully they have sent yours 🤞

    Hi, guys they called back today at 3. Its being printed and im collecting my daughters passport tommorow at 9 from peterboroguh (although the application and upgrade team were at durham). Only tips or things i did different was emailing duraham upgrade yesterday evening reminding them that we fly in 3 days, then today I spoke to progress team and they told me that I was down for a call back today (which actually happened). Good luck with all your passports guys and from my experience the upgrade team are contacting people 2 days before there flights.

    I actually when in to the Newport office not long ago and spoke to the manger, she was really nice and looked into things for me, she said the manger from the upgrade team looked at my application today. She took all my details and said she will ring me tomorrow or the upgrade manger will tomo. If I miss the call just pop down to the office. Bit of respect and common sense. Hope this helps anyone.
