Passport renewal from overseas – 7 weeks and counting

I live in the Philippines and need to renew my passport as it has less than 6 months validity. My documents were received nearly 8 weeks ago and still no update. Has anyone else living overseas experienced such a long wait?

Renewed a child’s passport from Qatar.
Arrived and ‘Application in process’ since July 14th. It actually arrived by DHL two weeks before that date.
So nearly two months now and still waiting!

Have you heard anything from your passport yet?

I applied 18 August (Started Processing) and have heard nothing since.

Finally got the approval message on the 19th and now it is on its way via DHL.
So all in all by the time I sent it then received the new one it will have been nearly three months (about 13 weeks).
