Hello, My other half applied for a replacement passport on the 29th March and it is still showing as ‘being processed’. As his old passport had expired and then was subsequently lost in a house move, we didn’t think he would need to report it as lost. Will it hold up the application when the examiner looks at it, if we do not have a lost passport reference number? He reported it as lost last week, but never received an email. Speaking to someone on the online chat they suggested reporting it as lost again. I am worried this will confuse things. Any help appreciated!!
