AnnaPParticipant
Mine took 41 days from start to finish for a child’s renewal
That was a paper application. To be fair, as soon as I tweeted it moved along and was sent in a matter of days.AnnaPParticipantSo my sons renewal arrived this morning!! Woohoo!!
Paper application sent 29th May
Text to say it’s been received 01st June
Emailed 26th June – waiting to be checked
Sent a Tweet 3rd July to chase
Email received 6th July to say it’s sent for printing
Text received 7th July to Say it’s being sent
Received black passport this morning at 7:45AnnaPParticipantI sent my sons renewal off 29th May, was received by them (Peterborough) 1st June. Heard nothing from them for weeks other than to say It was waiting to be checked. Sent them a DM on Twitter Monday, got a text this morning to say it should be here in a few days. Not sure if it’s related and until it’s in my hand I’m not going to relax.
AnnaPParticipantThis is what it thought. Was very concerned when they said 6th June. Below is the email they sent..
I am happy to confirm that your passport was received at our Peterborough office on 01st June 2020. Your passport was sent for printing on 06th June 2020.
Then I received this one…
I would just like to confirm that your passport was sent for printing on 06th July 2020
Your passport will be collected by the courier within 7 days of printing. Where you have provided a mobile number you will receive a text message to advise of delivery which should be made between 24 to 48hrs of receipt.
Fingers crossed I get that text soon
AnnaPParticipantI’ve now been told it was sent for printing 6th June so a month today. Not quite the quick turn around I was hoping for 😔.
They can’t tell me how long the queue for printing is either. It’s been 5 weeks today since they received itAnnaPParticipantCould you send a copy of how you worded your email to your MP at all please?
AnnaPParticipantDoes any one know what it means when the passport has been sent for printing?
I sent my sons renewal off 29th May ( paper application) had a text to say it was received 01st June. I’ve emailed and received two separate replies, one saying it was received 01st June at Durham and the other saying it was received 01st June at Peterborough and has been sent for printing. I’m a little confused at to where it actually is and what sent for printing means? -
