    UPDATE my daughter was seen straight away at Peterborough as she is flying Sunday, they were super helpful, while she was there Liverpool called her and Peterborough have made an appt to collect her passport Saturday at 12pm !

    I will say when you are this close just go! they will see you… still not got it in hand but its more progress than we have had in 10 weeks !!!

    @gnatalie16 my daughter is now on her way to Peterborough even though its at Liverpool Peterborough is our closest i am just hoping someone will help her shes only 18 and i have sent her there on her own to try get sorted as we fly Sunday and still nothing form the upgrade team at Liverpool 🙁

    I have just taken a call from my local MP who was super nice on the phone and took all the details and is going to get in touch with HMPO on my behalf, not saying it will work but anything is help at the moment

    morning Guys, well I didn’t get to speak to anyone last night after 2.5 on hold it cut off 🙁 called again this morning the lady just kept reiterating its only a request not a guarantee, despite being told they had put urgent call back requests in place for me, she mentioned on the phone the last one was on the 19th May too early!!! so all these other so called requests have not been put in place. I said to her what else can I do now then as it doesn’t appear that despite people saying they are putting a call back request in place they may not be.

    She said she has put one in place (not sure whether to believe her)and said they would call anytime minimum of 4 hours to 48 hours…I think my only hope is to drive to Liverpool Saturday morning and say we fly tomorrow.

    I am really now losing all hope 🙁 sorry not to be the bearer of goods news this morning 🙁

    still on hold….. also sorry does anyone know whether you can go to any office or does it have to be the one where your application is? at this rate I will be there Saturday

    Hi really finding this helpful but some conflicting advice given. My replacement application was sent on 5th April

    at the time of the application it gave the expected passport time of 4-5 weeks, I made an appt at Peterborough paid an extra £147 to fastrack it, when I got there I was told we cant do anything about it as you have an application in process. told not to panic but call when it gets to 14 days before travel.

    I did that and got a call last Monday (23rd) to upgrade request (Liverpool) was told on the phone and email will get a call within 48 hours.

    I have called every day since and they haven’t called me back once! completed an form with a caller on Saturday 28th and was told again I would have an urgent call back, this still hasn’t happened. I called again yesterday and was told “stop stressing they will call you back but hey are working in date order of travel” I asked the question so are they working and delivering passports over the Bank Holiday and weekend and she said yes!

    Just called again nearly in tears and another form was completed to be sent to the progress team and someone will call me….

    I am really now starting to lose any hope of this passport being here for us to Fly Sunday now – total loss as to what else I can do..

    I have emailed a complaint stating every person you speak to tells you something different and even emailed my local MP, my application is at Liverpool and I am thinking do I just drive there Friday and wait? I dont know who to believe now with them being open and sorting out passport this BH?
