Very lucky to receive yours in one day from it being printed, most things I’m reading are saying allow a week from printed. Did you call up tnt or do anything to ensure this?

I received my printed text yesterday but tracking is not working. Just spoke to TNT they said there are up to 6 day delays from last weekend but they do aim to post the parcel 48h after receiving it – blamed hpmo and told me to call them.

Yeah that’s what I fear. I’ve just read on Twitter that apparently tnt only do pick ups on Thursdays and Royal Mail have now had to step in to help with deliveries. Seems like most people wait a week for delivery from printed but I’m seeing a few where it’s only a few days

Just wondered if anyone can give advice as my passport is now printing from 6pm today but I’m meant to be going on holiday Friday. Hoping because I live near london being more central might mean it comes quicker but I’m seeing a range of delivery dates from 3-8 days – can anyone give some advice?

Your new passport has been printed, and will be transferred to our delivery supplier in the next few days. In most cases it will be delivered by TNT delivery services. When it’s ready for delivery, they will contact you with a tracking reference.

Find out more including if you need to be at home when TNT deliver: https://www.tnt.com/campaign/en_gb/hmpo.html

This was the text I received

Mine was approved 16th and meant to go away 24th March (next thurs) not looking likely. I’m wondering if you called then and if they can help speed the process at all as I doubt they can and have already rang them loads

Can someone advise if it’s worth calling the passport office once passport has been approved? Need my passport for 6 days time but not sure if there’s anything they can do once it’s been in the process of being printed

This is ridiculous do they count the week without the weekend for printing times? And we’re they able to give any more detail in regards to stages of yours being printed etc?

You cannot use an emergency appointment once it’s been approved. I had this issue today! Once it’s approved apparently it’s sent to a secret location to be printed so it cannot cancel this transaction once it’s in place

    I’ve just rang again.
The lady said that because mine has been printed there is no way of cancelling that passport so I cannot attend the fast track. It’s disgusting that I’ve only just been told this after the amount of times I’ve called.
So after paying that extra money to guarantee I can make my holiday there is nothing I can do. Has anyone got any suggestions for complaints procedure etc? I really don’t know what to do about my appointment today.. part of me thinks to go as I’ll probably hear a complete different story from them. It’s disgusting thst I was previously told all I would need to do is bring a withdrawal letter to my appointment – I was never warned what would happen if it was approved. Disgusting process.

I need my passport by the 24th of March. Today (the 16th) I was told it was approved after a 5 week wait. I have an appointment for 11am tomorrow morning for a fast track. Could anyone please give me there recommendations on what to do. Or if anyone knows of similar experiences. I wondered if I could let a family member use the appointment instead but not sure if this is allowed – they only have my name and DOB when making the appointment.
Just don’t know which option is best to ensure I have it ASAP.
