    Just wondering when we should try going to the office if our upstage doesn’t work. Still a week off from applying for it so time to think. Or worry lol 😂

    Has anyone turned up to an office having met all the criteria (over 6 weeks and within 48 hours of travel) and not been able to leave with their passport?
    This idea is all that’s keeping me going.

    @wanokuni that’s what I have been worried about too. Not only didn’t other half loose his passport but he has also lost his driving licence card. So how will we prove id. Needless to say I will be taking the new passport straight off him when it arrives!

    My other half’s application was a renewal as his passport had expired. But he had also lost it. The website didn’t make it clear if this should be submitted as a renewal (which we did) or as a replacement. After looking on here I told him to report the old expired one as lost but he had still not received a reference number. Advisors on web chat don’t seem worried. But if we end up having to apply for the upgrade then I will get him to add all the details regarding the cancellation of the expired one. Fingers crossed this doesn’t prove to be an issue.

    Interesting to see there are a number of us stuck in roughly the same time frame.
    Wish they would give us more information on the tracker. Don’t know about anyone else but I am obsessed with checking it. Wondering what I will do with all my spare time when this is over to be honest!!

    I have found it more available first thing in the morning or after lunch. I have been waiting for it sat advisors available and then filling out the pop up box when you go to connect. But don’t click next or connect or what ever unless it still says advisors available. If it doesn’t then wait until it does and then press connect from the pop up box. Hope that helps.

    Does anyone else think the info they give you when applying is not adequate? As it was expired we assumed it would be a renewal. No where then did it say expired passports should also be submitted as lost. Hope we get the cancellation reference soon then. Beginning to loose hope.

    Oh no! Don’t say that. I am in the same boat. Currently at 7 weeks waiting for a replacement of a lost passport and I have been pinning all my hopes on getting it fast tracked. Please update us if you find out any more.
    We never got a lost passport reference number which is also stressing me out

    I can’t help with the fast track but I am hoping your experience with them will give me some hope.
    Waiting on my boyfriends passport which was submitted 29th march as a replacement and has been ‘being processed’ ever since.
    When you marked the passport as lost did you get a reference number? If so how long did it take to come through. Was this via email?
    We submitted his as lost but never got a reference and I am worried this is holding it up.

    Please could you show the average times but arranged my method of application. Eg split out the fast track people from the rest. And also could you differentiate between those whose application went though the digital checking route and those whose applications have gone through manual processing (being processed) as I think these will differ greatly in timescale.
