    Success story.

    I fly Monday and today collected my husbands passport.

    I applied for an upgrade and heard nothing. The progress team emailed Durham internally to ask for it to be expidited for compassionate reasons…heard nothing.

    Yesterday I drove to my local passport office, Newport. They were so helpful and today collected the passport.

    Don’t go before 48 hours, they are only helping everyone who is flying in the next two days.

    Durham is 6 hours away from me. Newport is the closest at 2 hours. X

    We fly Monday. Applied for upgrade. They have now emailed the Durham team with urgent and compassionate request. Still nothing.

    Can anyone tell me if Newport print passports on a Saturday?

    Any advice on if I just turn up to Newport tomorrow? Application is with Durham.

    I have read lots and the progress team say that they tend to call 48 hours before. If we fly Monday…would that be sat or more likely tomorrow? Any help is really appreciated

    I fly on Monday. I’ve submitted an upgrade request, I got an automated email. Is there anything else I can do?? The passport application is at Durham….6 hours away from home.
