There’s an update regarding my application too. Unfortunately not the one I was looking for, but I guess it’s my own fault.

Two days ago a received a letter from the passport office in Liverpool.
I’ve got dual citizenship. They sent me back my non-British passport, which was on the old name, with a letter that I have to change my name on it first before they can proceed with the application.

My British passport on my old name is still with them. So now I have to go through a very annoying process of changing my name on the other passport before I can do anything with the British one.

The only thing which annoys me is the fact that I had to wait over 2 months for them just to tell me they can’t issue me with a new passport 🤦‍♀️

My horrendous timeline… Should I action it somehow? I can’t believe it’s taking so long…
