    Been at the London passport office for two days from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Had to cancel my flight – moved to Wednesday next week so that I can keep chasing it (passport office works in order of priority so don’t bother going if you aren’t travelling within 48 hours)

    Upgrade request sent on 10 May – sitting outside London passport office. 4 hours until I need to be at the airport. They’ve told me they won’t see me inside the office anymore. I have to sit outside and wait for a call.

    I don’t know if coming to the passport office works. I was here at the London office at 7:30 yesterday and I was the last person to leave. Got here again this morning, I’ve been told to sit outside and wait. My flight is tonight.

    I spent all day at the passport office in London yesterday. Still no passport. I’m flying out tonight. Upgrade request sent on the 10th of May. Application sent 28th February. Currently on my way back to the passport office.

    @vikkilee22 – I requested a call back on Monday, I just got a phone call back now. I’m flying tomorrow and currently sitting outside the passport office in London. Hopefully collecting today.

    My flight is booked for the 19th of May.
    I submitted application on the 28th of Feb. Documents were received on the 30th of March. I’m currently sitting on 3 hour train to London to the passport office and THIS AFTERNOON I RECEIVED A CALL ASKING ME TO MAIL MY SOUTH AFRICAN PASSPORT TO THEM. I have no idea what to do, I have to return home on the 19th.

    I am flying on Thursday the 19th of May – I have sent an email to the upgrades team, I have been phoning everyday, I have been repeatedly told to NOT go to the London office as they will not help me without an appointment but I cant make an appointment. My accommodation ends today, I am taking a train from Devon today – staying with a family member until the 19th. Its a one way ticket back home to South Africa. I don’t know what to do!!

    Hi Everyone,
    I am flying on the 19th of May (This thursday)
    I have had multiple calls from the call centre telling me I am past 10 weeks and then getting cut off, calling back and being told I’m still within ten weeks. My flight home (one way ticket – dual citizenship, going back home to South Africa) is booked so I sent an email to the Liverpool upgrade team – I just got an automated response, not an acknowledgement of travel date etc.

    I sent my application on the 28th of Feb, they received my documents (passport renewal) on the 30th of March and it has been in the application is being processed stage since then.

    I have packed up everything, my accommodation is expiring on the 17th, I am staying with a friend until the 19th – I am really starting to panic now. Is there anything else I can do? I am going to the London passport office on Wednesday. (I have been calling everyday since last week, I have been on hold for 32 minutes already this morning)
