I’ve just received my email to say my passport has been printed at 5.47am!!
Was meant to be flying out on Saturday, luckily our hotel have let us move the booking at such short notice and have made an exception to the cancellation/modification fee of 50%! However BA are charging us an extra £600 to move our flights!!
Gutted but as I have special plans for this holiday I am just glad to be going at all! Hopefully the delivery will be speedy!
I was told the same thing about being sure it was printed and sent, I was approved on the 25th and not heard anything since then! Really starting to worry now!
Applied originally on 8th February. Glitch in the system caused me to have to confirm my identity 3 different times. Eventually got past that and to the processing stage where it got stuck for weeks and weeks. After multiple phone calls and being on hold for hours each time I was told my application wasn’t submitted until 1st March?! Weird. I then had to call back as there was still no movement and I am due to travel on the 2nd April, so they put a note on my application to say this and I received a phone call on the 25th March saying my application was being approved and it will be with me in time. Still no update on when it’s coming and I am starting to think it’s not coming at all. Several phone calls and being told it “is being printed and sent to you now” but had no tracking information through at all. I am going to lose nearly £3000 if it doesn’t come in time. The agents I have spoken to have all sounded really helpful but am starting to wonder if they’re just saying things to get people off the phone. Very anxious and upset about this whole situation.
Still no update on the Application Tracking system, impossible to get through on the phones as they’re too busy and keeps cutting me off after holding for a long time.
Starting to think my holiday and my money is long gone now. Fuming.
No update on tracking yet but when I spoke to the agent on the phone he said it was printed on 25 and on the way. Now starting to wonder if he just said that to get me off the phone!
I am in a similar situation too and starting to panic now!
Application went in 7th Feb
After loads of messing around and no end of phone calls I received a call on Friday 25th to say they had passed it and I should receive it before my holiday – Saturday 2nd!!!
Still had no update on the tracking system and spoke to an agent today who said it was printed and on it’s way to me? I’ve had no tracking update or anything and really stressing now as will be losing a lot of money if it doesn’t turn up in time!Anyone had similar?
