Just had a check and our application finally moved from Documents received to Being processed.

I’ve only email twice so far as I saw somewhere saying stop sending the same emails to blockage the systems. I guess I will have to emails more and hope one of them get seen

we are in the same boat and we need to have the supporting documents back by 25th as well as my husband’s passport in them. I’m sick of being told “in 48 hours””in 2 working days”I spoke to someone on twitter and she said she went to her local office and bagged them to help. And they sent an email to the peterborough customer service but said couldn’t guarantee anything. and she rearrange her hotel booking losing £500 and then got a call in the after saying her passport can be collected the next day.
Praying for everyone of us get a call today!!!!!!!!!

coralpParticipantI called last week and I was told that I could email the upgrade team for my daughter’s first application.
The normal 1 week fast track can be use for renewals and first child passport, and the upgrade service is to upgrade your current standard application to the fast track service. So I don’t know why the upgrade service can’t be use for first child passport.coralpParticipantNo luck with us today except received a “we’ve got your documents” text which is extant the same as 3 weeks ago. Called the advice line and then was cut off while waiting to speak to the progress team. Forwarded my original email to the upgrade team and got the auto reply saying they will contact in 2 business days.
Absolute a terrible management and I doubt how many people are working in those office and what is taking so long for them to check and approve one application. Oh and stick to their words.coralpParticipantI hope the documents received text means they got our flight booking information or something.
I called and the agent said the application is still with Peterborough office. She said she will pass me onto the process team because I emailed more than 24 hrs ago, but then it was just cut off in 1 minute…
I forwarded my original email to the upgrade team and got the auto reply this time. Will wait for the rest of the day and email again if nothing happens.coralpParticipantI just thought maybe our application has been moved to another office that why I got the documents recieved text today

I got a text an hour ago saying they have recievd my documents. WHat???? Our application status hasn’t changed since 28 Mar Documents received. Not even in process yet.

Was your application at your local office when your requesting for the upgrade? Happy for you! yes I would pay anything just to get the passport before our flight!
May I ask when is your flight?
We are leaving on the 26th and I sent the email for upgrade on Tuesday but heard nothing so far.
We also need the supporting documents back as well before the holiday….frustrated -
