Waiting for my daughter’s first passport application from Australia. 91-days since they recieved the application and 65-days since they recieved the documents (they took nearly a month by courier from Aus):

Emigrating from Australia back to the UK on 15th August but due to the inefficiency of the Liverpool passport office I may have to leave my family behind while I go back to start my new job. I will have to pay for temporary accommodation and my wife will be forced to take a long flight, on her own with two very children. Two months after I leave, their Australian visa will expire and they will be in Australia illegally if her passport is not received. I have sent several emails only to get the same answer “the passport is being processed and we don’t know when it will be ready” and “do not book travel without having recieved her passport.”

This is not OK. I understand it is difficult with the restrictions but people’s lives and being severely impacted.
