Delivered 2 days after approval.
We never got a text or the tracker didn’t update to say it was it for delivery, but was a welcome surprise when TNT knocked at the door at 7am this morning!
Passports finally delivered today! 6 days ahead of our travel to can finally enjoy the countdown!

Approved 09 JuneAfter several phone calls finally spoke to someone today in Customer Management who was diagnosed ally able to help and got us approved.
Suggest calling 0300 105 0850 to get direct to this team rather than general advice.
Submitted in March 23 (11 weeks)
Moved to processing March 31 (10 weeks)On June 04 was upgraded to fast track due to flights.
08 June still sat in processing and no further along despite being upgraded.
If 10 weeks has passed and you have an international flight booked in the next 14 days, they can fast track it free of charge.
Worth noting it’s been 3 days since they did this for me and still no movement. Plus print and delivery seems to be taking between 5 to 10 days once approved also
This makes me nervous… we have been fast tracked and told passport should be approved by tomorrow. However we fly in 11 days so this scares me that it still may not get to us in time!
Online / automated telephone service states documents are generally returned 2 weeks after your passport is issued.
It’s worth baring mind it’s not as simple as the documents been revived, checked and sent back straight away. They will hold onto your documents until the time an examiner looks at your application to process it.
As per the website applications can currently take up to 10 weeks to be processed and issued.
Not sure about the processing centres but I’ve had it confirmed the call centres and web chat is still open but at reduced hours. Hope this means the processing is still working too!
Honestly think it’s just to get you away…. I’ve spoke to web chat a few times and one person says something, then the next webchat person says there is no info on the file and they are not allowed to add notes.
Unless you are due to travel in 14 days time they will not do anything.
@Jules66 – still no passport. Will be 10 weeks since applied on Wednesday. I’ve resorted to emailing my local MP.
17 days now until we fly!
If found if you get the screen with just the text in the middle saying you may want to come back later, that’s it.. never goes through to an agent.
If it goes to a screen that looks like a chat window with “waiting for agent” in a grey box at the top, wait as one usually says hi after about 10 minutes.
Tip off here: when you get the link to go through, don’t add all your details. Just add you name and email as quickly as possible (otherwise it takes too long and someone steals the agent)
