@ks18 I think they’ve just told me what I want to hear cos like you still had no text message to say it’s been approved let alone printed. How long have you been waiting for yours? Wonder if it’s just Durham that keeo fobbing everyone off or if they’re all as bad as each other.
EstivalParticipantI received a phone call to say would receive early this week but had no text message updates to even say “approved” or whatever so think they spun me a load of rubbish….

EstivalParticipantFunnily enough my application was the day after you on the 5th May. I’m still doubtful I’ll even get them next week because still had no text messages to say approved. So frustrating that people who only applied last week are getting theirs. Good luck!

EstivalParticipantDid anyone receive there’s without getting all the text messages to say it had been approved, printed etc.? I’ve been told I should get it next week but still not got any text messages- is it possible I could receive passport without any notifications or is that mot likely??
EstivalParticipant@Brian27 I emailed the upgrade team last week because I’d hit the 10 week mark and got a call several days later to say it should be with me next week but I could be getting fobbed off. I’m sure I’ve heard other people being told a similar thing only for them to go back to square one.
EstivalParticipantI got a call from upgrade team saying that they will process the application and I should receive it next week. Should I be excited or as anyone else had a call like this only to still not receive it?? 🤔
EstivalParticipantHow long had you been waiting for passport if you don’t mind me asking? Did you have to wait long for a response from expedite team – I’ve not heard anything and I emailed them just over a week ago.
EstivalParticipantThat’s even worse to be told they’ve been approved only to be to they’re waiting to be checked again. What a shambles.
That’s good news – did you have travel already booked? I’m waiting to hear from Upgrade Team but currently got no travel booked so that might go against me.
EstivalParticipant@vegele Yes I agree. It’s so maddening when you hear lots of stories of people only applying in June and even this month and they’ve already got them back!! It’s so frustrating they’re processing the newer ones and the older ones are just left forgotten about. I didn’t realise people’s applications were getting cancelled at 90 days- is that standard for everyone?? Hope that doesn’t happen 😕
EstivalParticipantWhere do you fit in if you have no travel booked? Seems unfair they’re asking for proof of travel – just because we have nothing booked doesn’t mean we don’t have plans to travel. Just waiting for passports before booking anything. So do I not get prioritised at all now? 😔

I did get a quick response from that but it’s a week since I last contacted them to be told “waiting to be examined” and nothing since so think I need to try another method!! Good luck 👍

@ks18 I was told mine was with examiner last Friday 8th July when I enquired although it could have been there longer for all I know. Still not heard anything since. -
