So after realising on Friday 17th that my son’s passport had expired, (travelling 6th August) I applied online and sent his passport to Belfast as instructed. It was received this morning, and I have had an email confirming receipt.

I have two questions.

1. Belfast is rarely mentioned on this forum – has anyone any experience with this office?

2. Do I have to confirm his identity? Or is that only for new passports?

I booked the holiday in January, and have proof of that. 2 weeks before travel is Thursday 23rd, I will start ringing then.

AAARRRGGGHHHH Just realised son’s passport has expired – due to travel 6th August, 2 weeks 6 days – do I stand a chance? Has anyone hand delivered a renewal to Newport? What is the quickest way? HELP!
