I’ve just emailed my MP and explained it only appears near applications are being processed quickly and for help with mine. Maybe be worth it????France22ParticipantMichael. In same situation. Applied 14/4 documents received 29/4. Spoke to progress team who said in queue to be examined but not scanned and linked yet. Seems they are concentrating on new applicants. Only advice I got was apply for upgrade 2 weeks before. Stressed out now
France22ParticipantI’m very glad you have your passport so quickly. Unfortunately there are very many like myself who have been in a queue for months who haven’t been seen by the examiner yet and spend many hours on the phone, having to pay extra to upgrade if their lucky and for some cancelling holidays. Stress levels are very high. It appears than only recent applications are going through quickly. I hope the media keep it up for the rest of us. Sorry rant over
France22ParticipantThe only thing I can suggest is that you ring as soon as lines open then press option 8 then 3. Insist nicely you speak to progress team. Be prepared for phone to cut off. We had 2 phones ringing and waited an hour. Eventually we both got through and received some help. Good luck

France22ParticipantI’m same, damage to passport. Submitted 14 April, old passport received 29 April. Finally through to progress team today to be told Damage is a different queue and awaiting examiner. I go in 3 weeks
France22ParticipantYes. Then press 8 then 3. May have to press 3 twice. Insist nicely to have call transferred. Try having 2 phones on go in case one cut off in transfer. Tomorrow its 9.00 but try at 8.00
France22ParticipantUpdate. Managed to get call transferred to progress team. Very nice person who took some notes and said in queue to be examined as replacements in different section. It appears all in order just to wait and apply for update next week if nothing changed. 🤔

Approx 10 days to 2 weeks. I would ring passport office first thing in morning and ask to be put through to management team. Be prepared to wait. We had 2 phones ringing. Keep your tracking no hannd from post office
France22ParticipantI’m same. Rang and got though after 10mins. Transferred to progress team after 1 hour wait. Spoke to lovely man who couldn’t progress but did add some notes. Feeling positive
