I spoke to the passport office today and was advised paper applications are taking around 7 weeks from when it’s scanned onto their system. I sent my kids on the 6th ( scanned onto system on the 15th) still not even being processed yet.

How do you see this timeline? I’ve tracked mine online and just got an email saying thanks we rev3uv3d your appkc8ation it’s waiting to be checked? Is there another way I can see the timeline?

Does anyone know if you get a text per application or just one for all? As I made two applications for my children and just received one text?

Update on my application. Posted on the 6th of July (paper form via post office) got a text this morning saying they’ve received it. So from reading others looks like it’s taking them about 10 days to get it on the system. (Peterborough)

Ive applied for x2 new children’s passports. I posted them at the post office on 6th July & haven’t heard anything back yet. Has anyone posted theirs around this date and received confirmation of receipt? Panicking as we are due to go abroad mid August.
