    He just turned up – he was there at 6am (2 hours before the office opened). Really feel for you, it’s all so stressful. Best of luck 🤞🏻

    We were told my husbands would be upgraded due to the application being in the system for 10 weeks and despite numerous calls, his passport didn’t get “fast tracked”. He ended up travelling to our “local” passport office (2.5 hours away) the day before we flew and they printed it there for him. Very stressful! Worth noting that they won’t print it on the day unless you are due to fly within the next 48 hours. Good luck.

    My husbands application went to Durham, they didn’t process his upgrade in time (we go on holiday tomorrow) but he drove to a more local branch for us – Peterborough – today, and they printed it for him. They just contacted Durham and they sent it over to them.

    Did you go to the office your application was sent to, or just to your closest office? My husbands application was sent to Durham but that’s a 5.5 hour journey from here so wondering if it’s worth going to a more local office. Our flight is on Sunday.

    Thanks for replying. Did you just call the standard 0300 222 0000?
