ParticipantMy son emailed and said the truth, he’s had 2 very stressful years with his exams and going for a football scholarship and as a reward for all his success we had booked this holiday for him and if he doesn’t get his passport he’s the only one in the family who can’t go on holiday which was very depressing and stressing him more than the previous 2 years… All of which was true….I really do hope you get as lucky as us because we know exactly what your going through and it is not nice at all!!!

Update… Just literally received a text to say my sons passport will be delivered in a couple of working days. Won’t get to excited until it arrives but it’s a promising sign…

ParticipantNo nothing… Lots of calls but same message you have to wait and can apply for an upgrade 2 weeks before travel which is next week. Also contacted my MP on Friday so I have everything crossed…☝️☝️

ParticipantNightmare!!! I also rung again this morning had a very rude gentleman on the other end no help whatsoever and said the process team would ring me back as he is not able to see my application!! This was 8am and I still await a call which could take 24 hours..

ParticipantExcellent news so pleased for you. Unfortunately I’m not so lucky, rung this morning got through straight away said they couldn’t find my application even though I have had a text and email confirming it’s been received. Had the processing team to ring me they couldn’t find my application put me through to the service management team who cut me straight off. Rung again and again they couldn’t find my application so put me through to process team who redirected back to the first place I came from and a different person who said it’s showing as being processed and has been there since 31st March so said I just have to wait 😩. I have a feeling they’ve lost my application and don’t know where to turn now…

ParticipantWe are also flying on the 10th June. Not even been told it’s in progress, last info we had is it’s waiting to be checked..Worrying times, and really disappointing you pay extra for the post office service but seem to be pushed behind the online applications…Fingers crossed we all have some luck here..
