Hi all, after the man at the passport office telling me to cancel my.holiday that was at the time 9 weeks away I have recieved my passport today with a just under 3 week turn around.
Luckily I held off cancelling although due to covid it may not be going ahead now but none the less it’s there if i can go!

I only made 2 calls one to cancel my expired lost passport and the other about time scales which was before I applied.

Great work and timescale I’m seriously I pressed and stupidly relieved!

Well I recieved a text last night saying my passport had been approved and the online says it’s being printed so hopefully comes soon 🙂

Are you any closer to the end of processing then? Just wondered if this was a generic email or if they really are behind and it is going to take 6 weeks? Thanks for the reply.

Thank you so much for the reply,its a stressful time for all! I hope it comes back someone I know did theirs 2 weeks before me and had theirs back so hopefully!

Hi all, after reading your threads I feel a bit better that my passport may be here in time for my flight on septemeber (19th) I did my online application monday just gone 14th July, it sayin processing now, just wondering as I had a passport but it had expired and it was lost will this affect it? I spoke to HMPO they have cancelled my old one and for renewal I had to get a counter signature which I think is ok as it’s now sayin my passport is being processed.. I think all should be ok what do you guys think?
