I really didn’t think they would get back to me but they did the next day
I wouldn’t even bother calling seems like a waste of time.So got my email on Friday afternoon saying that my application has been expedited. This morning received a phone call around 10am saying that it’s been processed and should be with me by the end of the week.
Recommend anyone waiting over 10 weeks to try emailing the expedited team, I didn’t have to proof my travel plans just told them I was flying in less the 3 weeks. Can’t wait to get it in my hands !I know that’s what really got me especially when they say that 10 weeks is not a guarentee! I would take that on the chin if it was dealt with in order of application. But my neighbour who applied 3 weeks ago has got his passport in his hands and I applied 3 months ago and no sign 😡

Have you tried emailing the expedite team? I know you said your not set to travel yet but I emailed them 3 weeks before travelling and they have sent it to be expedited without any proof of travel.
Also have you tried the uk consulate? Maybe worth a try, but I would definitely complain.What type of application is it?
How long have they had your doccuments for?

My 2 weeks before we fly is next Wednesday and like you I am very stressed. Only have 2 days off between now and us going away and one I am in hospital other my car is in for a mot. 12 weeks since I applied and 10 weeks since doccuments received. Really hope you hear something soon but feel like we have been forgotten about 😭I really hope you get sorted soon, I am nearly at week 12 now so fustrating. My local MP sent me minutes of a discussion in the House of Commons which said that any one waiting over 10 weeks will be expedited but just doesn’t happen. He is going to try his best for me but if not I will have to go through the upgrade next week as we fly the 20th. Just keep on at them any way you can, maybe give your local mp a email also. Fingers crossed for you
I tried to get mine expedited on Thursday but felt like I was hitting my head on a brick wall, as no one seemed to have a clue how to do it.
Finally got through to someone who assured me she had emailed my details over to them for and that I might get a call but nothing yet.
My local MP has contacted me again tonight asking for my details again so he can put it to the immigration sectary. Hope you have better success then me Snoopy55I am in the same boat we travel the 20th. Applied 10th April and been processing 9 weeks today. Think all we can do is sit and wait it out and pray it gets dealt with this week. Otherwise then it will be a upgrade 2 weeks before travel which will be stressful but it’s out of our control sadly
So happy you both have your passport sorted, really hope even though mine is a uk renewal I follow the same time line. 11 weeks on Sunday and fly in just over 3 weeks time. Hope your passports arrive with you very soon.
Aww glad you got sorted, I am actually jealous because I am waiting for a call back from the expedite team 🙈. Fingers crossed it shouldn’t be too long now
