    I have only called once and that was when I was concerned why my passport was not showing as being delivered on my royal mail tracking so I haven’t really bugged them or anything I swear it is luck !
    Have you had good news with yours Lauraf?

    I’ve just had an email this morning saying my application has been approved so that’s less than 7 days from ‘receiving’ my old passport when i sent it on the 21st of Feb. Flying on the 19th of march so fingers crossed my new one arrives this week

    Can anyone advise me on the right phone number to ring the Bootle office? I want to speak to someone about the status of my application please. I’ve got the general number for HM Passport office is it just that one that we have to call?

    You are in a similar situation to me I am going to contact jet2 to see how much it would be to move our holiday and how late we can do it before we fly! Hope you get some progress soon I’ve got a few friends who have had new passport applications processed and delivered in 3 weeks from Bootle lately so hopefully won’t be long

    Finally had an email today Documents Received – Just glad they haven’t lost my Passport – Now heres to hoping my new one is processed and arrives in 16 days 🙂

    I’m getting very worried about my adult renewal. I sent my passport on the 21st Of Feb 1st Class signed for, Royal mail Tracking has not update it just says ‘we’ve got it’ called the passport line and they are not helpful at all! I’m worried my old one has been lost in the post. Due to fly 19th of March so considering moving my holiday now
    I don’t know how to sort this if it has been lost by royal mail as you cannot get through to anyone
