Normally it takes around 10-12 days for the passport to be acknowledged by passport agency. If you sent it on Friday then you need to add extra 2 days on top.

I think it depends on either renewal or first uk passport and also the date that you applied. You can ask for passport upgrade using the upgrade email or you can message your local MP to help you if you need it urgently.

Stil waiting for the next process. I have read a lot and do my logistic and here is the current waiting time:

Old passport to be acknowledged by passport agency:
10-12 days after sent

Application approval:
2/3 days after old passport been acknowledged.

Passport print:
1-3 days after application approved

Passport send:
1-2 days after Passport printed
