That’s not what they told me they said they will be issuing both colours for a long while and the burgundy ones are not old ones
And I had 2 of each delivered and identical
The burgundy ones are indeed not old as they do not have the European Union on them so carnt be old and are the exact same in every way to the blue ones just made in a different place so you could wait and there is still not def chance you will get a blue one it’s just pot luckIt doesn’t matter when you booked it now as long as it’s within 2 weeks they will dat track it within 5 days
Leave it a week and call them as if within 14 days of travel they will express it through within 5 days
Don’t panic you will have it in time but u can do what I done I contacted them and said I need to add api ( advance panenger information )7 days before I travel they then prosessed mine 3 weeks before travel and I had all 4 back within 5 days of contacting them
Ref photo if they reject u send another and if that’s ok usually it will go to passport issued within a day as the photo is the last stage and no it didn’t start the application again
You can ask it to be escalated when within 2 weeks of travel they won’t u TIL then but once your within 2 weeks they will issue it within 5 days
If u booked pre Covid they rush them through quicker they rushed mine through after just under 2 weeks as I booked the holiday last year and had all 4 back in just over two weeks I had to send them evidence of that though
