Hi Tito,
So a quick update, after repeated pressure from our MP they apparently found our documents at a different office on 11th February then did not send them to the correct office until the 19th February. We have now been advised the documents will be located in the correct office and the process started so hopefully it is coming to a close, though I must say as has regularly been the case they called my wife 2 days ago to say they’d find them and upload them then call her back the same day but never did.

We have gone to local MP now as we have been waiting 10 weeks with them not even acknowledging receipt of our documents and not giving us any advice on how to proceed so we can get a passport. Then suddenly we received a ‘your documents have been received’ email the day after a call from MP but when we call they can’t say if they’ve been uploaded or actually found (I am sure they are lying and it was to tick a box to say they’ve done something and they’ve still not found them).
My advice is calling does nothing, they lie to you and will fob you off continually, contact your local MP and ask them to contact on your behalf + raise a formal complaint with the office.
How did you discover they’d found it, did you ring or was it just updated?
Hoping it is the same with mine eventually, now 4 weeks and a bit since they received it according to UPS. Maybe some boff in the office put them under his coffee cup and forgot
I may try call UPS just to confirm exact delivery location. Passport office said my case has been handed to missing document team, I just want to know where it is, bit worried some random bloke has all my personal information and my wife and sons!
I sent my sons (from KSA) and was delivered (UPS confirmation and signed for by a Stuart) on 5th December but despite this have no updates on our application.

We sent our sons passport, late November, confirmed delivery by UPS on 5th December but we are receiving no updates despite calling them and being advised it would be updated within 24 hours, our application is quite pressing due to living abroad (because of laws in this country regarding registering newborns) and they are aware of this.
Just wanted to know other peoples experiences currently as my worry is they do not have/have lost the documents and I am going to have to replace birth certificates, marriage certificates and everything else. Or has anyone managed to contact the hemel hempstead office directly to check whether they even have a record of it being received? I even have the name of the person who signed for it!
I am not too fussed if there is just delays, it is the fact they can’t even tell me they have it despite telling me each time it will be located.
