So my son’s first passport was approved on the 21st March, then printed on the 23rd, and could finally track last night about 5.15pm, and it was delivered at 12.01pm today. Stress over, we fly in 5 days, can now start getting excited. Hope everyone else waiting for updates, hear soon.
Sjb1980 – yes his application went to Liverpool and it was a first application. I’ve applied for another 4 passports at the time I applied for his, and they all came back within 3 weeks, that was 1 adult renewal, 2 child’s renewals and 1 child first. His one has been over 11 weeks now, I haven’t seen any take as long as his. My renewal went to Liverpool and from them recieving documents it was approved within 8 days would have been quicker but I had to resubmit a photo.
My son’s was approved 21st and printed on 23rd, and I have only been able to track since 5.15pm today. It says it’s due for delivery tomorrow, so fingers crossed it arrives.
ADgrams – that’s strange as my sons was approved last Monday and printed Wednesday, and only been able to track this past hour.
Amy94 – I have tracking information at last yay lol. Think it’s 7 days from approval you seem to be able to track. Due for delivery tomorrow, so we will see. Hopefully won’t need to take a day off from work now as working Wednesday and Thursday this week, so fingers crossed it arrives tomorrow.
Vee1983 – my son’s was printed on the 23rd still waiting for update. It was approved on the 21st, when was yours approved? We travel on 4th April.
Amy93 – I keep checking tracking but nothing yet, to be honest mine was printed really quick where most people are waiting 7 days for the printed status, and then can track normally the same day. My son’s was approved 7 days today, so hopefully soon.
Amy93 – still waiting for tracking info, was approved last Monday and then printed on Wednesday, no idea how long it is going to take.
jswan123 – you don’t always get emails when TNT have it, but you may be able to track fairly soon, as most people who are approved and then printed on day 7, can track that evening.
The first call back I got was after 11 days, the second call back I received was within 24 hours but think that was because my son’s application had gone over the 10 weeks mark.
I know some have managed to collect there passport from TNT before, not sure about the office itself.
Reg – TNT are aiming to delivery with 48 hours after picking up the passport,but a lot of people have had it delivered within 24 hours. I put my son’s application in on the 8th January, and it was finally approved Monday and printed Wednesday. I have done another 3 applications and none took this long. They need to sort the system as it’s a joke.
Beckyb – HMPO say it is taking 5 working days for TNT to collect, then up to 48 hours to deliver, but TNT seem to be scanning the passports and delivering most the day after they scanned. My son’s passport was printed on the 23rd and still haven’t received tracking. Most people seem to receive their passports about 9/10 days after they have been approved. So mine was approved Monday, with printing on Wednesday, so I technically should have it by this Wednesday all being well, and while others have waited 7 days after being approved for printing, they then get tracking almost instantly.
