I’ve not heard of anyones taking that long to be honest. Renewals seem to be taking a week afte documents have been recieved according to others on this forum
No I haven’t sorry, but a gentleman about a week ago had put his kids had been processing for about 16 days and I haven’t seen him reply since so I am hoping they got approved. Seems like too many applications get sent to Liverpool office so they can’t keep up
I am about ready to give up, need the passport for 4 weeks on Monday, been processing for 14 days today
I understand that. I’ve done another 4 passports, 3 renewals and a first child’s, and they all came back within 2-3 weeks where as my son’s first passport, is on day 14 of processing. Fingers crossed they hurry up
Liverpool seems to be on a go slow for some reason. I sent an online enquiry last Monday and still haven’t received an reply
It’s taking 8 working days to upload documents onto the system, so hopefully yours should be done today
My adult renewal went to Liverpool in January and would have been approved in 4 days if I didn’t need to submit a new photo. I’m going to give them till Friday and if not heard back will call again to chase it up, but hopefully what the bloke said yesterday is true and I won’t need to send my marriage certificate in. Thank you
I never received any acknowledgement. They just keep saying can take up to 10 weeks which I am getting sick of hearing. All the other passports I have just done were done within 2-3 weeks. I am hoping to hear this week, as tomorrow will be 14 days in processing
Just spoke to a lovely gentlemen, and I have been stressing about needing to send my marriage certificate in, and he asked if I had put my passport number on, I said I did, and that I have just renewed my one into my married now. The bloke then informed me that they can look up my old passport and will see it’s had a name change and that’s as good as seeing my marriage certificate. So fingers crossed I get an approval soon. 13 days in processing today. He did also say that normally if there is an issue I would have heard by now, and looks like it is just waiting a sign off.
Mine is my son’s first passport and been processing from 16th February. I need it for 4th April. I’ve applied for 4 other passports,3 renewals and another 1st and they were all deliveried in 2/3 weeks too. This office seems to be going slow at the minute. My son’s 2 renewals were in application is being processed for 2 and 3 days before being approved. I’m getting stressed and fed up of waiting for an update
In my experience it’s a few days, after passport has been printed, it’s usually been delivered a couple days later. I’ve done 5 passports and so far that’s how it’s been for the 4 I have received back, just waiting for the last one to do
@sana – it’s taking up to 8 working days to upload documents as received, and from what the lady told me the examine links the applications. I was waiting for mine to be linked to my son’s but now my application is no longer trackable so got to wait for an update to send my marriage certificate in. We fly 5 weeks today 😭 my daughters first passport was approved in 6 days afte saying documents received, my son’s first passport has been processing since 16th February
Hopefully mine isn’t far behind then. Applied 27th January

Application being processed 16th February
And nothing since.
I’ve done 4 others passports and they have received a couple days later but haven’t arrived over the weekend. So yours should be arriving soon I would say
