Is it a first or renewal passport? My son’s first passport is taking the longest, all overs were in my hand within 3 weeks
It can take 8 working days till the documents are uploaded to the system. My son’s first passport application is on day 10 of processing. We fly on the 4th April, when I applied first child passports were taking 3 weeks
I rang yesterday and spoke to a lovely lady who was really helpful and gave me reassurance that I will have the passport before April, and today I rang back due to another issue and today they couldn’t tell me anything. Thankfully I have spoken to lots of helpful people over the past few weeks, but some people don’t seem to know enough as others
Mine is really starting to stress me out. Last update I had was 16th February when it went to application is being processed. It’s for my son’s first passport. My daughter’s first passport went from documents received to application approved, that took 6 days. I’ve asked to link my application to my son’s, but my application was approved 27th January, so I’m worried if they remove my application from the system before linking the documents, then I will have to send my marriage certificate and that will take 2 weeks to upload on the system, then another couple weeks to probably approve. I need the passport in just over 5 weeks. Stressed isn’t even the word
Warren1129- that’s strange because I rang them today and she could tell me it was still with the examiner and it just needs signing off. She did say it should be with me long before I need it
Have you rang them? I rang this morning spoke to a lovely lady that told me my son’s first passport is just waiting to be signed off
Personally I would ring, definitely about the renewal, as two of my son’s had renewals and they were approved 2 and 3 days after going to application processing. My daughter’s first passport was approved 6 days after the passport office updated the system saying documents received. I am going to ring tomorrow as it will be 4 weeks since I did the application. Liverpool seem to be going slower at the minute
Are they first or renewals? My son’s has been processing since 16th, lady yesterday told me it was with examiner, don’t think that means much though. Personally I would ring but I am just impatient, and we travel on the 4th April
I’ve applied for 5 passports this past month, and they were all deliveried the day after they were printed and sent
Anyone know how long a child’s first passport is taking at Liverpool office? It’s been in processing since 16th February. My daughter’s first passport went to Peterborough and was approved 6 days after they received her documents, didn’t even go through processing. Just stated documents received and then approved.
