    Hi Sazzle, my situation is similar to yours. I applied on the 21st May, application went to Liverpool office, and am due to travel tomorrow. I just received a call that I can go today to pick up the passport. Hopefully that means they are very close to getting to yours too. In the two weeks since I contacted the upgrade team I had received no updates (sent the email to the team, no reply, no phone call, nothing) so had given up hope and then today out of the blue I got the call that it’s ready.

    Lost/Stolen passport took 54 days, and I think it would have been longer if I hadn’t got through to the Upgrade team.

    Even though it hasn’t been printed yet, I’ve been told over the phone that I can collect it today from the Glasgow office (which is closer, although still 3 hours drive). Not sure why my application went to Liverpool in the first place as I live in north Scotland…

    Thanks for everything you’re doing Andy. It’s been 6 weeks for me with no updates which has been a pain… On Monday I was on hold for an hour and a half total and the first person I spoke with told me their headset was broken and so they were struggling to hear me (I could hear fine, so we worked through it with lots of repeating everything back multiple times).

    Today I got through with no hold time at all but unfortunately there was a problem with the system and they couldn’t actually see my application details… As well as all the impacted travellers, I feel for the people working at the passport office as they’re obviously not getting the training/support/tools necessary to overcome the backlog.

    I think StephieC is right; I just got a reply to the email I sent (on the 25th May… so 22 days just to get an email reply) and they said that my current status is “Awaiting Processing”, but the tracker I can see has reset back to “Identity Documents Received”. It’s almost like everyone has lost the most recent change made…
