Hi Kate, I applied and submitted my application on the 8th of October and they received documents 18th October. Only took 15-16 days for approval and got my passport sent to me on the 5th of this month. Seems to be an average wait of 20 days or so when documents are marked as received. Sent to Bootle. Adult renewal.
kazii321ParticipantBootle: From documents received to approval it was 2 weeks. From application submitted it was 3 weeks. They have printed it out and now sending it hopefully this week!

kazii321ParticipantHi Sadie, I called the Liverpool office and I told them I’ve sent my sons application off to The Bootle office and the lady said the Liverpool offices are very busy however she did note my intended travel dates. Give em a try, they answered fairly quickly. Anyone else need the number, Here:

kazii321ParticipantHi Caroline, did you have to send in any other supporting documents namely birth certificates as this is what I’ve been hearing?? I hope they don’t ask that. Sent off to bootle
kazii321ParticipantHi, why did you have to send birth certificate in for?? Parental responsibility?
kazii321ParticipantDid they ask for a birth certificate to show parental responsibility?? I hope
This isn’t the case with my daughters one she’s 11. Yet they did ask on the supporting documents that they needed a court order of some kind, absurd if you ask me, but not anything specific to show parental responsibility or describe residency arrangements. Is that what they asked of you? All very stressful!kazii321ParticipantHi Grady, it’s worth a chance to email your local mp. I did so and she has Contacted HM passport office personally. Awaiting a response now!
