Mine had a wait time 8 mins but I couldnt wait , but I assume there is someone on the end after 8 mins if you do not close the screen

Just ignore it , my daughter had numerous texts asking for documents she already sent. Didnt make any difference to the progress

I’ve ordered another marriage cert from the GRO as they still have mine and wasnt sure when I would get it back , I want to take it away with me, so I just ordered another. Not worried about old passport.

Hemel Hempstead isnt a passport office , its just a collection depot. We sent my Granddaughters old passport to Hemel but her mums marriage cert went to Peterborough

You wont get an update on additional documents , I phoned them yesterday as we had to send a marriage certificate off, They got it next day 5th May . The original old passport was received on 28th April, 13 days after being sent . The person I spoke to on the advice line stated the application tracking wont be updated on line, but she did say that it takes 2-3 weeks for additional documents to be looked at . I’m hoping the next update is approved. We are not going away until mid August original application was 15th April.

Its Globe House Eccleston Square just behind Victoria Station easy to get to
not sure about the queue though, my neighbour went and collected his own passport from there, no problem. There is a door clearly marked collections
