Passport Office enlists Sopra Steria in digital transformation plans
There are several and some places are owned by other companies who are ‘helping out’
Eg Corby.thereby not technically a main passport office. It’s frustrating sending to different places as they all come at different times and are approved at different speeds etc.Liverpool office has been quickest for me. Still waiting for passports from other offices all sent at the same time.

Application submitted 7:09pm on 17 March 2022I was able to track on tnt from 2 April (didn’t receive a message from them) and passport arrived safely yesterday 4th April.
One old passport sent to Corby
Still not updated as received although it has been signed for.
One same day One old passport sent to Peterborough they have updated as received a few days after.
2 applications and old passports sent to Liverpool they have updated as documents received 2 days after signed for delivery.
So all depends on the offices and as long as you have tracked your delivery and have a signature it’s most probably reached the offices but needs to be scanned in or assigned to an employee.There is no way of knowing if applications can take 10 days and reading of some peoples experience here up to 10 weeks.
I have sent applications to corby, Peterborough and Liverpool. And all have different processing times.
Sent old passport to Corby 18th March and tracked the delivery. It was signed for on 21st March. But yet to see it updated on application as it’s not marked as received. Definitely Corby are slow at updating or assigning passport to someone to sort out.
I sent another 2 passports for renewal to Liverpool on the same day and they have already updated that they have received it and approved application.
