Are you still calling them aswell?@marand I’ve got it!!! Got to Peterborough passport office this morning at 8.30am and was seen by the guy who called me on Friday. By 11.54 I was in the car getting ready to come home with the passport in My hand!!!

@marand it was a private number. I do also get calls from a slough number aswell which are part of the call centre calling back.. I will have to pay extra when I get there yes. Goodluck! Did you send them an email as that’s why they called me?
@BeckyB yeah we fly on Wednesday 18th! I can’t believe it. On Wednesday we were told to cancel our holiday and then Thursday a complete flip around. Now I need to rush around and pack like mad haha.
Oh gosh yeah, never again! But I won’t be having a baby and going on holiday so close together ever again haha.@BeckyB that’s brilliant! How long did it take to be approved from processing?! I have 5 days until travelling.. have you been contacted by the upgrade team yet?
@BeckyB have you had an update on your application yet? My documents finally got received yesterday and application is already being processed.
I’ve lost all hope. Applied for my daughter 1st passport on 16th April (2 days after she was born) sent of BC when she was registered on the 25th April. Had endless phone calls with royal mail and HMPO to finally find out that royal mail have lost the BC. My husband went to Newport on Tuesday hoping they would take her other BC and process it there and then as he had it in his hand but they wouldn’t. So we re posted it yesterday. It arrived and was signed for by Peterborough passport office. But they won’t fast track it through their mail room as it “just takes 10 dayS” I don’t have 10 days, I should by flying next Wednesday!!! Even had the MP try and help out too. My last chance is to go to Peterborough tomorrow to try and beg them to do it for me!!
@claloub Go down there! They will see people without appointments my husband went there yesterday. Got there for 8am and was seen very quickly.. we unfortunately had no success but it might be different for you and worth a try at this stage. Goodluck
Anyone know how I can get them to process my documents quicker?? After the first birth certificate got lost just over 2 weeks ago I’ve now had to send another one which was signed for this morning. But after calling this morning they’re saying it will be sat in the mail room for 10 days before being processed.. I fly next Wednesday morning!!! Help
I’ve emailed that address a couple of times and no reply. Not even an automated message like you get when you email the other offices.
Oh fingers crossed it updates tomorrow then as that will be 14 days. Did yours take the full 14 days to update on the royal mail tracking then?
I’m just so desperate to hear some good news of them receiving the documents. With only 9 days until we travel Im losing all hope..
