They’ve introduced a new stage I think where it just says printed and then you will get another text once it is with TNT for delivery. 17 March approval, printed this afternoon but not yet sent – expect about a week door to door to receive my passport.
londonerParticipantlps0515 – I’m Durham as well. looks like they may be taking a longer time than other offices to get it over to print.
Looks like my supporting docs are due to arrive back with me on 23 March so will receive my old passport back before my new one(!)
londonerParticipantAlso stuck on approved but called HMPO this morning and they confirmed its printed so I should contact TNT. TNT have no trace on their system so assumption is it hasn’t been picked up yet. Approved on 17 March but TNT have said to all for 7 days.
londonerParticipantJust called to check on ETA for printed passport following approval yesterday – freaking out as on the operators’ system it is showing that the passport is still in examination. Assume this is because there system hasn’t updated yet/it hasnt been actually sent to print – did anyone else have this issue?

Have travel coming up (second week April) so getting nervous. Called HMPO a couple of times – agents confirmed with Durham HMPO. Agent 1 told me she couldn’t even see my application in the system, agent 2 said it wasn’t marked as documents received at her end nor had it been sent to an examiner despite it showing as docs received at my end. Ridiculous that the only way to upgrade to a faster service is to request your docs back (which they don’t guarantee will come back in time)
