Walker1987 mines literally just been posted through the door so hopefully yours won’t be long
max1978ParticipantHopefully, I’ve got 2 down & 2 to go. So frustrating especially with the lack of updates
max1978ParticipantNo there was no update on passport tracker since has been printed, received a text from TNT this morning to say it’s out for delivery
max1978ParticipantNot sure if same as UK but my belief is that if it goes to processing it has gone into manual checking rather than digital so has to wait for someone to physically check it. I’ve called & asked about this as mine has been processing since 17th March, I was told I basically just have to wait & it could mean other documents are required depending on it being checked. Not much help I’m afraid
max1978ParticipantMy daughters came from bootle if that’s any help
max1978ParticipantPassport printed on 15th, text today to say out for delivery today. Probably a little behind due to bank holidays
max1978ParticipantI’ve been in processing since March 17th, I emailed them in regards to this & this was first reply:
am happy to confirm we received your passport application at our Durham office on 17 March 2022 and it is currently waiting to be checked. All correctly completed applications are being processed within the timescales of the service you applied for, which is approximately 10 weeks for a replacement application.
I then asked when the 10 weeks start from & they replied with the entry I posted above.
I called them yesterday & they basically said it’s just a waiting game, try the Newport number as that’s how I got through:

Our standard passport application is a non guaranteed service, however our estimated 10 week timescale is from when all supporting documents are scanned onto your application.
Non guaranteed & 10 weeks when All documents received. I’m assuming that means if any further documents needed it this will restart the 10 weeks
max1978ParticipantAh that’s brilliant news. Me too but I suppose o still have upgrade as an option if they don’t get their finger out. Have a lovely holiday
max1978Participant& of course being stuck on documents received 🙄
max1978ParticipantWhen do you fly? It’s ridiculous really as you apply well ahead of the 10 weeks & still looks unlikely, my sons was back within 5 weeks & my eldest daughters is waiting to be picked up by TNT. The processing stage is probably the worst stage your application can enter by the looks of it
max1978ParticipantI applied on 6th March, my application has been stuck on processing since 17th March. My daughters applied for on same day…been stuck on documents received since 28th March, I just called the Newport office (someone actually answered the phone), I asked about both applications, basically mine they can do nothing about, my daughters should have been scanned in & gone to approved or further action within 11 days so I am waiting for a call back to see what the delay is. We don’t fly until June 12th but I have little confidence in the system at the moment from reading other posts. If I’d not rang up then my daughters could have been on docs received for god knows how long. I’ll report back what they say

No guarantee even after 10 weeks of documents received im afraid, 3 children’s first passports applied for. 1 received, 1 being printed & last still on docs received although all applications sent on same day & the one we are waiting for was the first to have their documents received
max1978ParticipantMine was also a renewal to replace lost passport on old surname

This was a reply to an email I sent asking why it was still in processing nearly a month later….I sent my documents to Glasgow but now in Durham
