    Due to travel 3 weeks today and application was approved last night. Such a relief it went straight to approval rather than the processing stage that seems to leave people without answers for weeks on end. So not fair the stress it puts on you. I’m due to fly out for my sisters wedding 3 weeks today so hoping it can move to print and sent within this time frame. Fingers crossed! Here’s my timeline so far;

    Application approved 10:53pm on 21 March 2022
    Documents received 4:49pm on 16 March 2022
    Application received 7:37pm on 7 March 2022
    Application submitted 7:36pm on 7 March 2022

    Hi,

    I made such a mistake and went ahead with a standard passport renewal online as the website was showing as 4 weeks renewal time. Since sending it off was then brought to my attention that it can actually take up to 10 weeks and now all I’ve seen is bad news regarding passports. I called right away and asked to withdraw the standard application and to fast track and I have my sisters wedding to attend in April. I’m due to fly out on Sunday the 10th April and I am absolutely ill with stress as having phoned 3 times they have told me there is nothing they can do. I even offered to drive 4 hours to Durham to pick up my passport which they said is not an option. My documents were updated as received yesterday. Standard adult renewal. How long does it roughly take to go from docs received to approved? Should I call back now they have received my old passport? Thanks
