ParticipantPerhaps this is tantamount to the data not being present. I am also trying to ascertain when it might arrive. Mine was labelled as ‘printed’ today at 17:09 PM. Is it safe to assume that it will not be sent until tomorrow morning?
Should I bother staying home tomorrow? What about Friday? Are deliveries always likely to be made in the morning or might they also be made in the afternoon?Nawa
ParticipantThanks for this. But with that link I only receive an ‘invalid code’ even without the PEX?

ParticipantI am in an EU country. Does the ‘legal compliance’ cause apply in my case? How would one go about proving it?

ParticipantHi Foster, is that number correct? I’d really like to get through to someone as I’ve been waiting for almost 14 weeks but it doesn’t appear to work for me.

ParticipantI’m also wondering how long it is, on average, between passports being ‘Approved’ until they are printed and dispatched (Overseas).
I am soon hitting the deadline but need to commit to plans for travel. I don’t want to be away when it is finally delivered.Nawa
ParticipantThanks @COLANDJO73. Can I ask how long it took for you to get a response from them?
Nawa
Participanthow long did it take you to get a response?
Tomorrow will put me at 11 weeks and the unhelpful call operator I spoke to today said they won’t do anything until 13 weeks for overseas applications.
I need to have had my passport for a visa application by the end, so if it is only approved in 2 weeks that is far too late.
Useless people.Nawa
ParticipantI need to arrange my visa process now as I have to relocate for work. Calling them does nothing, just vague, ignorant people. It has been 11 weeks and still in the document received stage. Its just insane. For those who wrote to their MPs, how long did it take to get a response?

ParticipantI have to move countries and accomodation for work. I cannot wait 10 weeks from ‘documents received’ which took then 3.5 weeks to do after the documents actually were signed for at HMPO. I e-mailed the expedited service on Thursday and of course have still heard nothing.

ParticipantI hit the 10-week mark last week. I e-mailed the expedition team on Thursday and my MP today. I am overseas and need to move on to another country soon for work. The visa process needs to begin now and it is still at the ‘documents received’ stage. Ridiculous…

ParticipantI sent an e-mail Thursday morning. Haven’t heard anything back since, but others have said they received responses 24 hours after the initial e-mail. I’ll post here if/when I get a response.

ParticipantSince the ‘error’ or whatever their excuse was for the passports going back from ‘Processing’ to ‘Documents received’, has anyone else actually progressed forward?
Mine arrived on May 5th, wasn’t recorded as ‘received’ until June 1st, then went forward to processing the next day, then BACK to ‘received’ about a week later. It really is a shambles because I am in a foreign country with no passport and I need to move again soon for my work.
Nawa
ParticipantNot only has there not been any progress, we’ve actually gone backwards…

ParticipantI applied with overseas and got a TNT tracking number. It says that it was signed for at ‘Durham, UK’ but unfortunately doesn’t specify HMPO.
And are you sure that those of us whose documents arrived on the 5th will finally pass the dreaded ‘Send documents’ stage? It seems as if it will never continue….Nawa
ParticipantMine was reveived May 5th and still hasn’t even been updated
