Hi just saw this as I was about to unsubscribe if it helps I spent 3 weeks in application processing from 17th March to 5th April. Got printed on 11th and passport was delivered on Thursday all in all from application on 9th March 5 weeks 1 day so you should be fine.
But I spent 3 weeks with the examiner no update or information on tracking causing unnecessary alarm and stress with no information given from call advisor as I’m sure you are aware so I hope yours gets sorted soon my lovely.
Mine was with the examiner for 3 weeks before getting approved on the 5th April then they go to be printed which took until today 11th for mine to be done. The way mine has gone I expect another week before delivery but at least I’m not due to go away until the 1st.
Hi Nicola123 just had the text to say mine is printed. Hope you have had yours too or if not very soon.
Hi there anybody awaiting printing from Liverpool. Approved 5th April and still no notification of printed just wondering if anyone has any updates as as usual chat line useless
Hi there I’ve seen Weekend dates and on here a post mentioning 7 day printing. Also seen mention 5 days from approval to printing and 48 hours to deliver hoping that’s true as I got approved on 5th fingers crossed for today. Applied 6th March and not travelling until 1st May I know but sick to the back teeth with it now 😫 and the lack of updates and useless lack of information on calls making you think things are wrong quite frankly losing will to live now
Hi There I was approved 5th April from the Documents received stage on 17th March. Never went into application processing but still took 3 weeks.
Hi how lucky were you my application was submitted to Liverpool on the 6th of March my documents received on the 17th although signed for on the 9th and only went to approval on the 4th April. Still awaiting printing and delivery. Although my main reason of replying is to confirm to you and warn others regarding what you had heard and seen on Tik Tok. My old passport had an expiry date of October 2022 but was issued in April 2012 the extra 6 months were added on from my previous passport. I knew of the ruling that the EU requires 3 month validity on a British Passport but not the one where it does not recognise any added on months and therefore requires those months to be within a 10 year passport. However I discovered this to my horror when trying to board a Ryanair flight to Lanzarote and told I could not board the plane due to my passport not meeting the requirements of the EU.!!. Let me just say it was a very long walk back in reverse through departures and backdoor of security and how I did not end up in the divorce court by the time we arrived home I will never know. But now I’m approved hopefully I will be making the journey again on the 1st of May
Hi there mine never went to application processing stage my application was made on the 6th of March it went to Documents received on the 17th March then nothing despite chasing phone calls and being told it was with the examiner and all applications go through one of them. I was finally approved on 5th of April. I’m now awaiting the dreaded printing dispatch and delivery process just keeping my fingers crossed that is a lot smoother !!!
At last just received approval and wondering if anybody has an update on Liverpool office printing and dispatch process times. Also to all my other friends on the forum I have conversed with I hope you all get the same.news as me very soon
Thanks lovie im beginning to think either my examiner is on a very long tea break or gone on holiday lucky thing !!!.
It doesn’t matter mine has never gone to processing just remains on documents received 17th March and I have been told its with an examiner from that date and all applications go through them so dont worry my love im sure its not going to delay you further they just make it sound like that.
Can I ask how early you are renewing. Ive been on Documents received stage since 17th March with no such call and technically I still had 6 months on my old one but because these were extended months added to my previous passport issued in April 2012 I had to apply now as the EU are no longer recognising any extended months on a UK passport. .
Hi there Im in similar situation to you I applied on the 9th March and still at documents received 17th March no updates on tracking ive called and just keep getting told its with the examiners with no queries on it so why after almost 3 weeks its not been approved is beyond me. Ive called them numerous times and just been told to refer to the link re turnaround times. Thats all well and good but what is the point of a tracker with no updates if its with an examiner tell the person who’s passport it is after all they are dealing with what is technically our legal documents and we should by rights have clear access to the information didn’t like that question when I put that to them on the chat link and just ended the call.!!!
