    I think it’s more the evidence than anything that’s the first I’ve heard about the 6 weeks thing and for people like myself that have lost a passport , I put in my application on the 21st April that’s still not 6 weeks I have hope 🤞🏻🤞🏻

    I’m so pleased for you having read your thread and only you saying you don’t think it’s going to happen a few hours later a huge turn around , gives me huge hopes …

    So I’ve spoken with someone this morning …. Has everyone been told it’s not a guaranteed service ??? I’ve just been told that if there to busy with upgrades they can reject the upgrade … I could literally cry .. we travel in 13 days been told there calling people back in date of travel order which I understand for people that travel sooner… also that after I sent my documents to Newport my application is now with Durham ??? Has this happened to anyone also? I’m keeping everthing crossed 🤞🏻

    All I’m worried about is the fact if it’s 48 hours before that’s the jubilee bank holiday :/ are they going to be working still I’m a nervous wreck x

    I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you , please let us know with an update I would call and email everyday from now and push them .. hopefully they will call you tomorrow, I know that feeling I’m literally telling my children … if we make it on holiday 🙁 if I don’t get my passport then no holiday… we have 2 weeks today xx good luck and fingers crossed for you

    Our upgrade is also able on Sunday being 14 days before travel … although I’ve just remembered that that is also the jubilee bank holiday weekend and I’m praying it doesn’t affect it ! I could cry , I will keep posted 🤞🏻🤞🏻Fingers crossed for a miracle

    Ok thank you so much I will try that , did you wait untill it was the 14 days ? And have you had any response ? When do you travel ?
    I’m freaking out and panicking, I never thought it would come to this I could cry.

    I’m at my wits end – I lost my passport and have a holiday booked due to fly in 16 days – I’ve been calling and calling these past few weeks as it’s been stuck on application in process for nearly 4 weeks – I’ve asked do you need the cancellation reference to multiple advisors who all said no … untill I finally spoke to someone today who said they would need it and if nothings done in the next two days to call on Sunday to upgrade – i have the worst anxiety and I feel like km going to have a breakdown if this isn’t successful- does anyone have the contact email for the upgrade team in Newport – that’s where my application is.
