    I finally got a call from the Durham upgrade team today to say I can pick up my son’s passport tomorrow from Peterborough (we fly on Sunday) 😊😊
    I hope this gives everyone else some hope. From everything I have heard they really aren’t looking at applications until 48hr(ish) before travel.

    Has anyone not received their passport in time?
    We fly on Sunday and I went to Peterborough today, but unfortunately they couldn’t help me as my application is with Durham and they wouldn’t/couldn’t send it over to Peterborough because they were currently only dealing with people that travel in 48-24 hours. Very frustrating but staff were really nice.
    We can’t decide if we should move our holiday or risk it and hope we get a call back in time.

    @Ennevive Yes I have contacted both Durham and Peterborough upgrade teams and haven’t heard anything. I got the automated reply but that was it.

    @adz93 it’s made even more difficult when you hare children. Tomorrow is the only day I can go without having two children with me. Is feel like tomorrow is my final chance and if no luck then we will have to move our holiday and pay £600 to do so!

    I’m thinking of going to Peterborough on Wednesday as we fly on Sunday and if I risk leaving it any later we could loose all our money for the holiday 😔
    Has anyone had any luck getting theirs 4 days before travel rather than the 48 hours everyone keeps talking about?

    Hello! We are due to fly on the 12th June and am still waiting for my son’s first passport 🙁
    I applied through the post and it arrived with them on the 11th April and payment was taken on the 15th but when I spoke to them last week they said it wasn’t received until 26th!
    I was told to contact the Durham upgrade team even though I sent the application to Peterborough, does that sound correct? I emailed them on the 29th and still haven’t heard anything.
